D'Asyia Cotton (Junior) finished 2nd  in Girl's High Jump to advance to this week's regional meet.  Cotton was able to clear 5'4" at the Sectional Meet held at Hamilton Ross.  She seeks to go to two consecutive state meets as she continues her season at Dayton Welcome Stadium.  Cotton won the high jump state meet during the winter indoor track season.

Makaylah Jordan (Sophomore) continues to improve and saved her fastest time for the finals on Friday.  Entering the Sectional Meet her fastest time was 51.66 seconds, during the preliminary heat she dropped her time to 51.24 seconds.  To qualify for the Regional meet Jordan dropped nearly 2 seconds off her time to cross the finish line at 49.86 seconds.

Izaki Wampeti (Junior) competing in Boy's Long Jump, jumped 20'00.5" to finish 3rd in the Sectional meet to qualify for regionals.  Wampeti seeks to make it 2 straight trips to the state meet. 

The Region 4 Track Meet will be held at Dayton Welcome Stadium located at 1601 S. Edwin C. Moses Blvd.  Dayton, OH 45417

Finals: Friday, May 24, 5:00 pm.
