The Northwest Boys Basketball team earned an impressive home victory on Saturday, February 7, defeating West Clermont 73–46 in a strong all-around performance.
Northwest set the tone early, jumping out to a commanding 29–9 lead after the first quarter and maintaining control throughout the game. The Huskies continued to apply pressure in the second quarter, extending the advantage to 53–21 at halftime. Despite a more competitive third quarter, Northwest closed the game decisively, holding West Clermont to just six points in the final period.
Christian Craig led the scoring effort with 21 points, showcasing efficiency from the field and the free-throw line. Eli Sterling added 18 points, including six three-pointers, providing a major boost from beyond the arc. Travontay Thomas contributed 10 points, while Ethan Dixon made his presence felt on the boards with eight rebounds.
Northwest’s depth was also on display, as Jadyn Hairston and J’Veon Jackson each chipped in seven points off the bench. As a team, Northwest shot 27-for-59 from the field and knocked down 11 three-pointers. The Huskies also forced turnovers and shared the ball well, finishing with 19 assists and 12 steals.
