Fairfield, Ohio — January 30, 2026

The Northwest boys bowling team earned a competitive victory Friday night, defeating Carlisle 2159–2098 at Eastern Lanes.

Northwest established an advantage during regular-game play, finishing with 1,831 pins behind a balanced lineup effort. Justin Martinez-Salgado led the Knights with a 395 series, rolling games of 205 and 190. Carson Singleton followed closely with a 379 series, while Dylan Frey added 373 pins, highlighted by a 200 in his second game.

Additional contributions came from Levi Engleman, who posted a 369 series, along with Jacob Ochoa and Caleb Elliott, each providing valuable depth during regular competition.

In Baker play, Northwest totaled 328 pins, maintaining its lead and securing the overall team victory. The combined effort resulted in a final team score of 2,159 pins, holding off a strong performance from Carlisle.

Northwest returns to the lanes to battle Mt. Healthy on Wednesday, February 11, 2026.  The Knights will honor their seniors before the match begins.
